This tool provides a way to draw lines, arcs, and Bezier curves in your layout to create new vector objects. The On Screen Digitize Tool is more strict than the Freehand Drawing Tool.

On Screen Digitize is similar to the Vector Edit Tool, except it is designed to create new vectors. There are two ways to use this tool:

1. The Pop-Up Menu - select which kind of vector you want to draw, or which function you want to perform, by selecting it fromm the menu.

2. Shortcut Keys - uses the same functions, but with shortcut keys instead of the menu.
