LED Wizard 8 contains a new framework for generating statistics for a job, both the individual letter stats and the overall job stats that are integrated with the title block templates.

We are now calling the old system from version 7.x "Legacy Stats," and this dialog box is how to edit and manage the legacy stats system. When you open a version 7.x file in version 8, the legacy stats will be included unchanged, and you have the option to leave them alone, or update them to the new stats system.

If you edit a version 7.x file in version 8, and want to keep the legacy stats layout, then just click on the Stats icon to refresh the letter and overall job stats.

If you edit a version 7.x file in version 8, and want to switch to the version 8 stats and title block system, then click on Merge either in the main property bar or in the Powerflow tab.

There is a Switch (Tools Menu, Switches) that will default to the Legacy Letter Stats system even for new documents created in version 8:
